Make a song. Share the first listen.
Song Studio is AllTune Premium's music creation tool. Turn your own English lyrics into a song, then invite friends into a listening room to hear it together.
From lyrics to a shared listening moment
- Write your lyrics. Start with your own English lyrics and open Create a song in AllTune.
- Choose a musical style. Pick Pop, EDM, Rock, Acoustic, Hip-hop or Lo-fi.
- Submit your song. Generation requires the song service to be available. You can close the studio and return while it works.
- Listen to the result. Preview your generated song and download it. With DJ access, add it to the room queue for a shared first listen.
Prepare a focused first draft
Enter 20?2,000 characters of English lyrics. Give the idea a title, choose a style and select 60, 90 or 120 seconds. For a first attempt, keep one theme and a short repeated chorus rather than squeezing several stories into two minutes.
For example, for a song about a late-night drive with friends, write one verse describing the place and a chorus about the feeling you want to remember. Read it aloud before submitting: lines that are difficult to say may also be difficult to sing. You can use verse and chorus labels to organize the draft.
Optional sound settings let you describe vocal character, delivery, mood, energy and instruments. Treat those choices as creative direction, not a promise of an exact performance. Review the lyrics and settings before using an attempt.
A creative space you can come back to
Premium includes saved song drafts and sound settings, so you can return to an idea later. Use your personal room as a place to share the result with friends, gather reactions in chat, and put your creation beside the tracks that inspired the session.
Know the generation limits before starting
Premium includes eight generation attempts per UTC calendar month. Every attempt counts, including failed attempts. You can generate one song at a time, and songs can be up to two minutes long. The allowance resets each calendar month.
Song Studio currently accepts English lyrics and offers six musical styles. Results can vary, and generation depends on service availability. Write lyrics you have permission to use.
Review, keep and share the result
Listen to the whole preview before adding it to a room. Check whether the words are understandable, whether the song fits your intended mood and whether you are comfortable sharing it. Generation may interpret your directions differently from what you imagined.
Download a result you want to keep. To play it for friends, join a room where you have DJ access and use the song's queue control. Saving a room queue as a playlist does not preserve generated audio; that feature stores YouTube entries only.
If generation does not finish
Return to Song Studio and check the existing job before submitting another attempt. Only one generation can run at a time. If the service reports a failure, read the message and check your remaining allowance before trying again: failed attempts also count. Waiting for the monthly reset or changing your lyrics does not restore an already used attempt.
Use lyrics you wrote or have permission to submit. The ability to generate and download a song does not by itself establish rights to somebody else's lyrics or other protected material.
Do my friends need Premium to listen?
No. Friends can join your room as guests and listen with you for free. Premium gives your account the creation tools; it does not give every guest their own generation allowance. You still need the room's DJ role to add a generated song to the queue.
Start with the people you want to share it with
Try writing a chorus about a shared memory, a theme for your gaming group, or a soundtrack for an upcoming get-together. Keep the first session simple: finish one idea, listen together, and use the conversation to decide what to try next.
