Yes. Creating and joining rooms, synchronized listening and room chat are free. An account adds saved YouTube playlists and hosted room history. Plus and Premium offer additional tools.
No. Friends can join as guests in a browser on mobile or desktop. AllTune is also available on Google Play for Android.
The host can grant DJ access to friends. DJs add tracks to the queue. Plus and Premium hosts can also enable guest song requests with approval controls.
The room supports YouTube tracks and audio uploads. Spotify and Apple Music playback are not currently supported.
YouTube availability can vary by region and embedding restrictions. A mobile browser may also ask you to tap before audio starts. Try a different track if a video is unavailable.
Background playback is not guaranteed in the browser or current web-based Android app. Keep it open in the foreground while listening. A membership does not override phone or browser restrictions.
No. Playlists save YouTube references, not uploaded or generated audio. Room uploads are temporary and become eligible for cleanup after two hours. Keep your own copies. Read the upload guidance.
